This Copyright & Permissions Policy explains how content owned by Halcyon Beach may and may not be used.

Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, original content created by Halcyon Beach and appearing on this website or in Halcyon Beach products is owned by Halcyon Beach LLC and is protected by applicable United States and international copyright laws.

Halcyon Beach Intellectual Property

Halcyon Beach also develops proprietary branding, educational concepts, frameworks, methods, terminology, product names, and other intellectual property.

The Halcyon Beach Method™ is used by Halcyon Beach in connection with our educational framework, products, and services.

Our use of the ™ symbol indicates that Halcyon Beach claims trademark rights in the mark. The ™ symbol should not be interpreted as a representation that the mark is federally registered unless and until such registration has been obtained. Nothing on this website grants permission to use Halcyon Beach names, logos, branding, marks, or other source-identifying material in a way that suggests affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or ownership without our written permission.

Personal Use of Purchased Products

Unless a product expressly states otherwise, purchasing a Halcyon Beach digital product gives the individual purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use.

For example, if you purchase a digital guide or workbook, you may:

  • Download the product for your personal use

  • Save a personal copy to your own devices

  • Print a reasonable number of copies for your own personal use

  • Complete worksheets or exercises for yourself

  • Refer back to your purchased copy as often as you wish

Your purchase does not transfer copyright or ownership of the product to you.

What You May Not Do

Unless you have received prior written permission or a separate license from Halcyon Beach, you may not:

  • Share purchased digital files with friends, relatives, coworkers, clients, students, group members, or others

  • Email, message, forward, or otherwise distribute purchased files

  • Upload our products to shared drives, file-sharing services, websites, social-media groups, online communities, membership libraries, or similar systems

  • Sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute our products

  • Make copies for a church, ministry, class, small group, organization, business, team, or other group

  • Reproduce substantial portions of our products in another product, publication, course, presentation, website, or resource

  • Modify, repackage, rebrand, or adapt our content and distribute or sell it as your own

  • Remove copyright notices, trademarks, attribution, watermarks, or other proprietary notices

  • Use Halcyon Beach content or products to create substantially similar commercial products or resources

  • Represent Halcyon Beach content, concepts, designs, or materials as your own original work

Purchasing a product is not the same as purchasing redistribution, group-use, commercial-use, or resale rights.

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems

Unless expressly authorized in writing, Halcyon Beach content and products may not be copied, uploaded, submitted, scraped, compiled, or otherwise used to create datasets for training, fine-tuning, developing, or improving artificial-intelligence models or other automated content-generation systems.

This restriction does not prohibit ordinary personal use of technology to assist you in using a product for its intended personal purpose, provided that such use does not result in unauthorized reproduction, distribution, publication, commercial exploitation, or creation of a competing product from Halcyon Beach materials.

Sharing Halcyon Beach Content

We appreciate appropriate sharing that helps others discover Halcyon Beach.

You may generally share a link to a publicly available page, blog post, product page, or other public Halcyon Beach content.

You may also share brief quotations from publicly available Halcyon Beach content when the quotation is reasonably limited, accurately represented, clearly attributed to Halcyon Beach, and accompanied by a link to the original source when practical.

This permission does not extend to reproducing complete articles, newsletters, guides, worksheets, downloadable products, substantial excerpts, or other protected materials.

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict uses permitted by applicable law, including fair use where it applies.

Group, Church, Ministry, Classroom, and Organizational Use

We love the possibility that Halcyon Beach resources may be useful to families, churches, ministries, groups, organizations, educators, and other communities.

However, a standard individual purchase does not automatically include group-use or reproduction rights.

If you would like to use a Halcyon Beach resource with a:

  • Small group

  • Church or ministry

  • Classroom

  • Homeschool group or co-op

  • Retreat

  • Other group setting

Depending on the product and intended use, we may offer permission, recommend purchasing individual copies, or make another licensing arrangement available.

Scripture Quotations

Halcyon Beach frequently incorporates Scripture into its content and products.

The biblical text itself is not claimed as original Halcyon Beach content. Bible translations may be owned and copyrighted by their respective publishers or rights holders and are used subject to applicable quotation permissions and attribution requirements.

Copyright and trademark notices associated with individual Bible translations remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Third-Party Materials

Some Halcyon Beach content may include photographs, fonts, graphics, quotations, trademarks, Scripture translations, or other materials owned or licensed by third parties.

Halcyon Beach does not claim copyright ownership over third-party material merely because it appears within our website or products.

Permission to use Halcyon Beach's original content does not grant permission to use third-party materials incorporated into it. Any rights in such materials remain with their respective owners.

Social Media

You are welcome to share or repost Halcyon Beach social-media content using the platform's native sharing features when those features are available.
